To support commercial contracting initiatives, an experienced Contracts Attorney will join the legal team on a part-time, 2-month contract, working 24 hours per week, focusing on reviewing vendor agreements and improving contract templates. Key responsibilities Review various vendor agreements, including event, marketing, and technology vendor contracts Consolidate existing contract review guidance into a comprehensive playbook on commercial contracting best practices Leverage AI tools to assist with the annual refresh of commercial contract templates and collaborate with the Contract Manager on updates Required qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction 3+ years of experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts Experience with vendor agreements and contract templates Strong understanding of contract risk allocation and indemnification provisions
