Join Our Team as an X-Ray Technician!

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our growing healthcare team in Bronx, NY . This part-time opportunity is ideal for an ARRT-certified radiologic professional who is committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Pay

• $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
• Full-Time/Part-Time Position

What You'll Do

• Verify patient identity and review physician imaging orders before exams.
• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures following physician instructions.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns.
• Position patients accurately for optimal image quality, including assisting patients with limited mobility.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and use protective shielding when appropriate.
• Evaluate image quality to minimize repeat exposures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers regarding imaging findings and additional studies when needed.
• Ensure X-ray equipment is clean, safe, and functioning properly.
• Report equipment issues or malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification required.
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
• Previous experience as an X-Ray Technician preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and radiation safety.
