Weekend Marketing Sign Placement Contractori9 Sports East Columbus
i9 Sports East Columbus is seeking a reliable
1099 Independent Contractor to place temporary marketing signs throughout our Central Ohio areas of play on weekends.
The contractor will be responsible for placing approximately
25–50 marketing signs across two designated areas of play each weekend . i9 Sports will provide the signs, metal sign stakes, and specific placement locations or routes.
This is a
placement-only position . Contractors are
not responsible for picking up signs after the weekend.
Job Duties
- Receive assigned i9 Sports marketing signs and metal sign stakes prior to the weekend.
- Place approximately 25–50 signs per weekend across two designated i9 Sports areas of play .
- Complete sign placement on Fridays between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM .
- Follow the designated placement route and location instructions provided by i9 Sports.
- Insert metal sign stakes securely into the ground and attach the marketing signs.
- Position signs so they are clearly visible and facing the appropriate direction.
- Take a photo of each completed sign placement when requested.
- Report any location where a sign cannot be safely or appropriately placed.
- Notify i9 Sports of any damaged or missing signs or stakes.
- Return or store any unused signs and stakes as directed by i9 Sports.
Pay
- $2.00 per successfully placed sign
- Typical weekend assignment: 25–50 signs
- Typical earnings: $50–$100 per weekend
- Additional routes may be available based on program needs and contractor availability.
Example:
- 25 signs = $50
- 40 signs = $80
- 50 signs = $100
Payment will be made according to i9 Sports East Columbus' regular contractor payment schedule.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle capable of transporting 25–50 lightweight signs and metal stakes
- Smartphone capable of taking photos and communicating with i9 Sports
- Ability to work outdoors and drive between multiple locations
- Ability to safely insert metal sign stakes into the ground
- Dependable and able to complete assigned routes within the required time window
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow specific placement instructions
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Areas of Play
Assignments will be based on i9 Sports East Columbus program locations and may include:
- New Albany
- Gahanna
- Pataskala
- Reynoldsburg
- Pickerington
- Canal Winchester
- Groveport
- Johnstown
Contractors will generally be assigned
two areas of play per weekend , with approximately
25–50 total signs to place.
Independent Contractor Notice
This is a
1099 independent contractor position . Contractors are not employees of i9 Sports East Columbus and are responsible for their own fuel, vehicle expenses, taxes, insurance, and other business expenses.
Contractors determine their own driving order and schedule their work within the required placement window. There are no guaranteed hours or minimum earnings. Contractors may accept or decline available assignments but are expected to complete any route they accept.
