The Walmart Global Press Office is a strategic and agile communications team operating in dynamic, high-pressure settings. The team manages media relations, addresses reputational matters, and crafts proactive narratives that support Walmart’s global brand. Reporting to the Director, members act as key spokespersons and frontline operators, shaping conversations on retail’s future and global issues. This team values quick thinking, adaptability, and collaboration to deliver clear, impactful messaging that aligns with enterprise goals and enhances Walmart’s position as a trusted leader worldwide.
What you'll do...
- Develop and implement strategic global communication plans in collaboration with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Advise executives on effective communication methods to support company initiatives and priorities.
- Oversee the creation, review, and distribution of communication materials aligned with global strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate communication effectiveness using established metrics and benchmarking practices.
- Identify and integrate innovative communication approaches to enhance engagement and efficiency.
- Lead and mentor communication team members, fostering professional growth and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold standards of integrity and ethics.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or related field and 4 years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations, or relevant area OR 6 years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations, or relevant area.
1 year’s supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
