Required Qualifications Capability of offering a charismatic and friendly style of service tailored to specific guests and their needs, building a rapport with guests to establish future business. The ability to motivate and inspire others to work collaboratively to achieve a designated goal. The ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent Hotel data. The ability to communicate effectively in English with guests, managers, and colleagues. Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle the fast-paced environment to ensure guest satisfaction. Learn and retain the product knowledge relative to the position on the floor. Knowledge of overall hotel operations as they affect department preferred. General understanding of POS systems and ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems preferred. Ability to exercise personal discipline and extra diligence to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner. Qualification Standards High school or equivalent preferred. Two years of high-end hotel restaurant server experience preferred. RBS and ServSafe Food Handler Certification required. All colleagues must maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided). Physical Requirements Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill necessary tasks. Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 30lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including Holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
