Security Officer (Healthcare Clinic)

Pinellas Park, FL | Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Security Officer to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role is responsible for monitoring clinic and parking lot activity, responding to disturbances, preventing theft and diversion, and supporting overall safety and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the clinic, parking lot, and surrounding areas regularly.
• Monitor patient and visitor activity and report safety concerns.
• Respond promptly to disturbances and security incidents.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to maintain a calm environment.
• Assist in preventing theft, diversion, and unauthorized activity.
• Conduct end-of-shift facility inspections.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the parking lot and grounds.
• Complete incident reports and communicate concerns to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in security, crowd control, loss prevention, healthcare security, corrections, military, or law enforcement preferred.
• Strong de-escalation, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
