In general, a Vascular Access Nurse provides access to a patient's circulatory system through the insertion of a small, thin tube called a catheter. This can be a peripheral IV, PICC line, or other vascular access device (VAD). The client is a hospital in Wichita, KS, a Level 1 Teaching Hospital. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 07/20/2026, and ending on 10/19/2026. The nurse will work three shifts per week, with each shift being 36 hours long.
