ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
Our agency opened in 2012 and is a strong team of seven who work closely together to serve our customers and community. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked in outside industrial sales, and with my husband having over 28 years of experience with State Farm, insurance has been a big part of our lives.

Im a proud mother of five children, all of whom attended local colleges. Family and community are incredibly important to me, and that carries into how I run the office. We are very active in the community - supporting local high schools, staying engaged on social media, and serving in leadership roles such as President of the Board of Directors for St. Nicholas Charity and involvement with the Home Builders Association.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Shayne Laughlin - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
