ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
Our agency opened in 2021 and is a growing team of four. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked for State Farm corporate, starting my career while attending Illinois State University. Im originally from Rock Falls and bring a strong understanding of the industry along with a passion for building a successful, people-focused agency.

For our team, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including 15 days of PTO plus sick time, all bank holidays off, a 401(k), health benefits, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance. We also offer a hiring bonus for licensed candidates and will cover licensing costs for those who are not yet licensed.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Shay Brown - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
