Project Manager – GCP Migration (SaaS to Cloud)

Scottsdale, AZ (Onsite – 3 days/week: Tuesday–Thursday)

Project Overview

This role supports a large-scale SaaS migration initiative to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The primary focus is transitioning users from Teradata-based SaaS environments to a “North Star” platform. The Project Manager will act as the central driver coordinating across business units, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth migration execution.

This is a high-visibility, fast-moving project requiring strong ownership, coordination, and proactive execution.

Start Date & Duration

• Target Start: May 4 (ASAP)
• Duration: Through end of year (with potential extension)
• Possibility to transition into budgeting/forecasting or additional initiatives based on performance

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and manage SaaS → GCP migration activities
• Coordinate across multiple business units and stakeholders
• Facilitate technical discussions (no hands-on coding required)
• Partner closely with technical leads and engineering teams
• Gather requirements and understand current-state workflows
• Track deliverables, risks, and dependencies
• Lead meetings, document takeaways, and ensure follow-through
• “Herd cats” — ensure accountability and progress across teams
• Perform data analysis using Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
• Proactively identify next steps and drive execution without direction

Must-Have Skills

• Project Management experience (3–6+ years; flexible if strong)
• Experience working on GCP or cloud migration projects
• Strong understanding of technical discussions (non-coding)
• Proven ability to:
• Drive projects independently
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration
• Manage multiple stakeholders
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsPivot tables
• VLOOKUPs / data analysis
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly proactive, self-starter mindset (not an order-taker)
