Maintenance Electrician

Goose Creek, SC | $31–$41/hr + Shift Premium | Direct Hire

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Electricians to join a leading industrial manufacturing facility in Goose Creek, SC. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role supporting critical plant operations through the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment.

Schedule

• First 90 days: Day shift training
• Then transition to a rotating 12-hour schedule:
• • 3 days on / 4 days off
  • 3 nights on / 4 days off
  • 7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical equipment
• Install, inspect, test, and service electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems
• Support preventive maintenance activities and planned shutdown work
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documentation
• Work safely in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems
• Experience with motors, controls, MCCs, and industrial equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
• Comfortable with hands-on skills testing during the interview process

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal apprenticeship or trade school training
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical, metals, mining, pulp & paper, or other heavy industrial environments
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and work order systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial environments
