Talis Group’s company client is a Litigation Law firm located on Louisville’s east side. They want to hire a Legal Assistant to support cases in Civil Defense Litigation. Full benefits package, paid time off, profit sharing, and partial remote (2 days remote) offered. This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the office, including attorneys and paralegals. Data entry, scheduling, calendaring, maintaining case files, and completing other ad-hoc requests, as needed. Highlighted Duties Occasional legal facts and basic legal research Assist with case management and organization digitally Organize and electronically file pleadings Coordinate and schedule the company and attorney calendars Answering phones and processing mail Other duties as requested or required Work as a part of the team with all locations; filing in for others when needed, sharing with and communicating with other locations as needed regarding cases. Highlighted Requirements 5+ years as Litigation Legal Assistant in civil defense litigation An ideal candidate will have experience utilizing SharePoint, Word, and other Microsoft 365 products. Exceptional organizational skills, willingness to accept direction, follow procedures, and work within a team are required.
