Responsibilities Calibrate, install, inspect, test, repair, and rebuild measuring and control devices in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. Operate electronic test equipment such as digital and analog multimeters and analog and digital simulators. Work from prints, P & IDs, loop diagrams, and computer systems to troubleshoot instrument system malfunctions and make necessary repairs or corrections. Repair, replace, and install equipment in an explosion‑proof environment. Fabricate minor components for production equipment using basic machine‑shop equipment, based on drawings and sketches. Perform minor plumbing and electrical conduit functions (measure, cut, thread, and hang pipe or tubing). Perform other duties as assigned by site leadership. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and technical procedure manuals, including the National Electric Code. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with instrumentation. Qualifications Basic algebra and geometry skills. Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs.; work at heights up to 30 ft.; and work in confined spaces with supplied air, as required. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. After‑hour coverage Monday through Sunday every 3rd week. Availability and willingness to work overtime as assigned and on an emergency basis. 5+ years of relevant work experience.
