We are looking for a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our team in Albany. In this role, you will work closely with clients to navigate complex family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, and child support issues. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain substantial courtroom experience and collaborate with a team that values precision and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in matrimonial and family law cases, including divorce, custody, and child support matters.

• Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Manage discovery processes and ensure compliance with court deadlines.

• Advocate for clients in court hearings and family offense proceedings.

• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and address concerns.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and share insights.

• Participate in negotiations and mediation to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

• Stay informed about changes in family law legislation and legal precedents.

• Uphold the firm's commitment to ethical practice and client-centered service

• Admission to practice law in New York State.
• Minimum of two years of experience in matrimonial and family law.
• Strong analytical and legal writing skills.
• Proven ability to manage cases from start to finish independently.
• Excellent communication skills and client relationship management.
• Familiarity with civil litigation processes, including discovery and motion practice.
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
