Family Law Attorney
Title: Family Law Attorney
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Compensation: Base $110K-$130K + 15% bonus when you bill 1800 hours
Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our firm. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive legal services to clients in various family law matters, including divorce, custody, and prenuptial/postnuptial agreements. Your expertise will help families navigate challenging legal situations with compassion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities - Represent clients in family law cases such as divorce, custody disputes, and child support issues.
- Draft and review legal documents, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on family law developments and regulations.
- Provide clients with legal advice and guidance throughout the legal process.
- Prepare and file necessary court documents and ensure compliance with legal procedures.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice in Illinois
- 3+ years of experience in family law or related areas.
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated empathy and client-focused approach.
