Entry-Level Dental Assistant - Full-Time

$18-$21/hr | Plattsburgh, NY

North Country Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a friendly, energetic, and organized Entry-Level Dental Assistant to join our growing team! No dental experience? That's okay-we're looking for someone with the right personality, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping children feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits.

What You'll Do

As a Dental Assistant, every day is different! You'll help keep our office running smoothly while supporting both our patients and clinical team by:

• Assisting the dentist during exams and procedures
• Helping children feel calm, comfortable, and excited about their visit
• Preparing treatment rooms and organizing instruments before each patient
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments following safety guidelines
• Taking dental X-rays (training provided if needed)
• Keeping operatories clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Working closely with teammates to keep appointments running on schedule
• Assisting with basic front office tasks when needed

No dental experience? No problem! We'll provide training for the right candidate. We care more about your attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn than previous dental experience.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday-Wednesday: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
• Friday: 2-3 Fridays per month (hours as scheduled)
• On-site at our Plattsburgh and Malone, NY offices
