Alphacraft LLC is a North Carolina-based non-emergency medical transportation company committed to providing safe, dependable and professional transportation services to individuals with mobility challenges, seniors, and those requiring assistance to access essential services.
We are looking for committed full time and independent contractor drivers to service Jackson, Haywood and Buncombe Counties of western North Carolina
Driver must live in any of the listed counties above.

Job Responsibilities:

Pick up clients from home or care facilities in a timely manner
Safely transport clients to medical appointments, hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities
Ensure the comfort, safety, and timely arrival of passengers while providing excellent customer service.
Assist clients with boarding, disembarking, and securing mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers)
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure clients comfort and well-being whilst been transported
Perform vehicle inspection prior to the start of every shift ensuring that vehicle is clean and well maintained
Follow all safety protocols and regulations
Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to management

Qualifications:

Valid North Carolina driver’s license and clean driving record
Must be 24 yrs or older
Must have or be able to get a BLS certification
Ability to assist passengers with mobility challenges
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be dependable, punctual and reliable
Must pass background check, alcohol and drug test

Previous experience with rideshare or in NEMT industry

Physical Demands:
Combination of sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, climbing stairs and moving intermittently during working hours.
