We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and well organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety Vehicle/Fleet Mechanic for our Cleveland, OH location. This mechanic should be a strong teammate with ability to work well with fellow mechanics, drivers, and operations personnel. When it comes to safety at Air Products ZERO IS ACHIEVABLE. Check out some of our benefits: Yearly salary $67,850 Tuesday - Saturday, start time between 11am - 1pm Rotating on call required All tools provided Company paid PPE Affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance available day one of employment 401(k) retirement savings plan with immediate vesting of company match and core contributions Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time Paid parental leave Adoption assistance Flexible spending accounts (medical, dependent daycare) Life Insurance (AD&D), Supplemental AD&D Employee Assistance Program (EAP) The primary responsibilities will be to: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary on trailers and tractors Document/record work performed electronically on the computer Perform road repairs when necessary Perform cryogenic pump maintenance Perform electrical/electronic repairs and installs on tractors and trailers Calibrate pump discharge meters Minor welding and fabricating as required Qualifications: High School diploma/equivalent Class A CDL preferred Strong mechanical background, with above average computer experience/skills Energetic, highly motivated and well organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety Strong team player with ability to work well with fellow mechanics/drivers/operations personnel Solid work history Ability to drive a tractor Welding knowledge and experience Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits Diesel engine troubleshooting and minor repair experience This is a safety sensitive position Air Products proudly values the skills, dedication, and leadership that veterans bring to the table.
