Job Description



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Packages: Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers' homes, apartments, and businesses using a provided company vehicle.
  • Customer Service: Interact positively and professionally with customers to provide a great delivery experience.
  • Route Management: Follow a planned delivery route, which will be provided each day, ensuring timely delivery of all packages.
  • Package Handling: Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, handle packages carefully, and use handheld technology to manage deliveries.
  • Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and driving regulations, including wearing seat belts and obeying traffic laws.
  • Problem Solving: Handle unexpected issues that may arise during delivery, such as incorrect addresses or package damages, and escalate as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, supporting other associates as necessary and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the management team.

Qualifications



Requirements:

  • Age:  Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Driver's License:  Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Ability:  Capable of lifting and carrying packages up to 50 lbs, and comfortable walking and climbing stairs.
  • Technology Use:  Proficient in using handheld technology and GPS devices.
  • Communication Skills:  Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Dependability:  Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.
  • Team Player:  Ability to work well in a team environment.

Qualifications

:
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a customer service role.
  • Familiarity with the local area and traffic patterns.
