About the Role
The Company is seeking dedicated individuals to join its Board of Directors. Board Members play a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring financial sustainability, and advancing the mission of creating safe spaces for individuals to connect through their stories, creativity, and humanity. This volunteer position requires a commitment to regular board meetings, active participation in committee work, and the contribution of expertise, resources, and networks to support the organization's growth and impact.
Key responsibilities for Board Members include providing governance and oversight, financial review and approval, assisting in fundraising efforts, serving as ambassadors for the organization, and contributing to strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the organization's mission, previous experience in nonprofit governance or relevant professional fields, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
