As the Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach Duties include assisting in all areas of operation for the men’s soccer team in cooperation with the Coach. A major responsibility of this position is to maintain relationships with players and frequently serve as a go-between for players and the Head Coach. The assistant coach helps the Head Coach in all other areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities In training work closely with the goalkeepers and help Coach [Name] working with field players. Implement on-field strategies and formations for matches. Discuss and prepare practice plans and execute training programs. From a recruiting standpoint, the assistant travels to watch prospects play, identify potential recruits, and maintain communication through the recruitment process. Travel/meal arrangements. Fundraising event planning. Scouting. Salary, Hours, and Benefits $7,000 salary, 10-month contract (August - May). Part time. Tuition remission benefits. Job Requirements A minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Division I playing or coaching experience. Possess general knowledge of intercollegiate athletics and NCAA regulations.
