The Impact You'll Drive - Performs detailed, hands-on work across multiple stages of the build and inspection process
- Works from custom patterns to bend and shape wire to precise designs
- Uses a soldering iron to fuse and secure materials
- Uses measurement tools to verify dimensions, alignment, and overall accuracy Inspects materials and in-process work to ensure quality standards are met
- Performs final inspections to confirm appearance, durability, and craftsmanship Identifies and documents defects or inconsistencies Maintains quality records, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Partners with production to resolve issues and improve consistency
- Works with small, intricate components requiring focus, patience, and steady hands
What Sets You Up for Success: - High school diploma or GED required; related experience or training is a plus
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions, labels, and production schedules
- Able to complete simple forms and communicate basic information clearly
- Ability to follow multi-step instructions and apply common sense to routine tasks
- Comfortable identifying quality issues and resolving standard problems with guidance
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to measure using standard units (e.g., tape measure, counts, weights)
- Work is guided by established processes, with regular support and review
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent bending, reaching, and use of hands for tools and small parts
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. regularly, 25 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
What Will Set You Apart - Enjoys hands-on, detailed work and takes pride in craftsmanship
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for both structure and visual presentation
- Comfortable working from patterns, prints, or templates to create consistent results
- Experience with soldering or similar fabrication techniques is a plus, or a willingness to learn
- Ability to work with small or intricate materials requiring precision and care
- Patient, focused, and able to maintain consistency across repetitive, detail-oriented work
