Red Bank Regional High School is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to the Athletic Director to support the daily operations of a dynamic and student-centered athletic department. This is a 10 month position. Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive administrative support to the Athletic Director and athletic department, coordinating athletic schedules, calendars, events, transportation, facilities, and communications, assisting coaches, students, families, and staff with athletic-related questions and needs, preparing correspondence, reports, forms, schedules, and other departmental materials, assisting with athletic registrations, purchasing, invoices, and event preparation, communicating professionally with students, families, coaches, staff, officials, and outside organizations, and supporting the successful operation of athletic events and programs throughout the school year. Other duties may be assigned by the Athletic Director.
Qualifications include a high school diploma required; additional coursework or degree preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail are necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is preferred. The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment is crucial. Prior experience in a school, athletic, or administrative setting is preferred.
